Trying Thursday

Well the past week and change have been busy. Work is going for both of us adults and school is going for both kids. Chris is in the midst of the meat of his term, and spring break is around the corner. He had some fun plans for him and the kids. Check back in a few weeks for pictures of their endeavours.

Saturday we made our monthly Costco trip. We such both A and G in the basket and it didn't take long for A to complain about G leaning on her and touching her skirt. She also was quite the big sister and put her arm around him.

We continue to have some jealousy issues and they seem to be worse if she is tired.

We seem to have a cold or something. Chris got sent home last Friday and hasn't really recovered well from that. Tomorrow Chris and A may be staying home as we think A has pink eye. A kid in her class for sent home two days back and her eye is now swollen and oozing goo. It's funny the best way to prevent punk eye is good hand washing, and no one at the day school seems intent on helping the kids wash hands well. We will see in the morning.

How much snow did you get?

This week they called for massive amounts of snow. We ended up getting about a foot mid week and then we got another couple of inches yesterday. I had trouble convincing A to go out and play, but we did have fun once we got outside. These are pictures of our fort and snowman.

Valentine Hats!

Since we got a lot of snow the hats were rather appropriate. A wants to build a snowman but the snow may be the wrong kind since it is so cold. They cancelled school for the kids so I'm working from home.
School for Chris is also closed, so we get to hopefully be showed in. We have 2 of our forecasted 24 inches, so we probably won't get our prediction. It was enough to cause mass panic though.

Girls get dragons. Boys get kitties. Guess who said that? While we love the princess books we got for Christmas, we find what is taken away a lot of fun. It is better than always having a ball and dancing with an unnamed prince.

Birthday Party

We went to a birthday party this afternoon and it was a blast. G slept through most of it while A tried to steal the show. The birthday girl and A regularly get each other in trouble running around church. They are rather good friends though I couldn't get them to stay still long enough to get a picture.

This week was full of fun as I went back to work full time. I really wish they had someone do my work while I was gone, but I had three months worth of work to do, plus dealing with the current crises.

Anyway sugar highs from the party are wearing off so hoping for a nap.
