At daycare A has been learning the Hokey Pokey. Every day they say she really enjoys it. Other than dancing daycare was an interesting week this week. She managed to have a child bite her on Friday, as well as fall off a table onto a chair. She has a raspberry looking thing on her left cheek, and I think she had a bloody nose when she fell. She has been climbing fearlessly for a long time now, I'm honestly surprised it took this long for something like this to happen.

At work this week I passed gown certification so I get to go into cleanrooms and actually assist in manufacture of the drugs. I get to go in for the first time on Monday and will spend a good chunk of the day in what looks like an astronaut suit. Who knew that I'd find a job that required me to not do my hair or make-up every day? It is actually illegal for me to wear make-up or any hair styling product in the clean room. I also can't have fingernail polish, fragrances, or anything like that in the cleanroom since it might contaminate the product.
Chris wrapped up his last week of summer session this past week. He is looking at having about six weeks of work with no students. He is going to work on some of his larger projects and is probably going to take a few days off here and there to spend with A. He gets a lot of vacation time, and the state legislature gave him five extra days this year.
Anyway, I went for a run this morning and made it up "Stadium Hill". I've been working on it for months now and have mastered it once. Hopefully I can repeat it. The hill came at the end of a five mile run, so my legs were kind of tired to begin with. Since I'm working on training for a half marathon, it is good practice. I'm definitely doing the Route 66 one, and am contemplating one here the end of August. I don't think I'll make it though since it is the beginning of August. Off to shower. I hope the cooler weather that we are having is also making appearances in your neck of the woods, if not, then stay cool!
