Well life is busy as we know it. Our trip to Chicago ended well. The wedding was a lot of fun. Getting back was an adventure. We had some minor mishaps along the way, but made it home by midnight and then got up and went to work. Last week was busy too. Now to settle down a bit and see if we can get a semblance of a routine going. Unfortunately I didn't take many pictures of our week away. I posted the one on blackberries almost 2 weeks ago and that was one of the better pictures. We had fun with the bachelor and bachelorette parties. Nothing super crazy, but super fun.
One of the most memorable things of the trip was the Nerf guns. Linda and John wanted us to have a Nerf gun war when we took pictures. They had semi-automatic guns and gave each of the bridal party members a gun as well. We played with them at their house most of the week. A loved retrieving the darts and putting them back in the guns. She would run away when she had two left though. It was entertaining for all most of the week. Then during the pictures, she got out and started picking up the different darts as well. Pretty entertaining and I think the photographer got some good pics of it. Since it was my birthday they did sing me Sweet Caroline. During dinner at the reception the waiter quickly learned who I was. When I asked him what was in the tomato basil soup and he responded, "Tomato and Basil, Dude" I knew I was in for a time. He quickly shaped up though (especially since I'd been talking with the wedding coordinator since May about my meal and such) and wouldn't let anyone else try and serve me.
Well, I need to go get the diapers together so I don't have to do it in the morning. Hope everyone has a good week.
