Saturday Mornings

This past week has gone by quickly. The two month check-up and a couple of trips to work will do that I suppose. Since I'm in the glider with G sleeping peacefully on my lap I thought I'd use the time to post a little. G normally sleeps soundly in his own bed in his own room, but has been a bit cold it seems he gets up. Since we've got a few inches of snow on the ground it is a bit cooler inside than normal. A was sweet and brought us her quilt, and I could put him down, but I've decided to cuddle since he won't fit like this much longer.

Chris and A are off playing with the Legos that she got for Christmas. She wanted to combine them so the few hundred she has all go in one bin these days. We were concerned that she might decide to keep the three containers separate, but the first time we got them all out together so she could build a huge tower she decided they all belonged in the same box.

A is slowly getting used to G, but days like today she shows she is only two. She is trying me less and less, but keeps trying Chris, especially on the weekend. I think it is because he goes to work each day and A has to listen to me while he is gone. Chris has been able to come home for lunch this week so hopefully he can the next two weeks as well before I go back to work full time. A actually went to work with Chris this week, she packed her bad and everything. She put a water bottle, a piece of fruit, a game and a book in the bag before going to work with him. It was check-in week so Chris was able to stay close for the hour or so she was there. Hopefully Monday nights will go smoothly as those are his late nights again.

We think we really need Chris to find another job because the fall term is promising to have four night classes a week. Our lease is up the end of July so it would be a great time to move if we need to. We are looking for other places here as well since our rental company has proven themselves inept in more than one way.

That basically sums up life here right now. Hope everyone is staying warm.
