Ready, Set, Wait!

This past week has been quite full.  We've managed to get a lot of stuff done and ready for Ripley, now we just need a Ripley. 


The biggest thing we've accomplished is getting everything ready in Ripley's room.  We now have everything put together and are just working on "stocking" it with what we'll need for a baby once it gets here.  We managed to get the recliner into the room as well, so hopefully that will be great for night time feedings and whatnot.  We shall see.  Here are two pics of the room though.  We've got some ideas on what else needs to happen, but for now, we have to wait and see how everything works with Ripley. 

We are in the days of waiting for Ripley though which means we're both quite excited.  We're looking forward to being three instead of just two, despite our qualms.  We're quite thankful to everyone who does reassure us that it really is an okay decision and that it isn't as scary as we might think. 

We finally are getting spring here as well.  We didn't get a ton of rain this past week, so that means everything has really greened up.  It helps that we're getting a TON of sunlight each day though -- by about 445 it is starting to dawn, and twilight starts about 8.  As always, we still have a few more weeks until the summer solstice, so soon it will be really really hard to sleep with the light outside.  As always though, hopefully this summer makes up for the winter in terms of wonderful weather.  This year it will be nice to go out with a baby and enjoy the weather. 

Anyway, I'm going to finish doing some stuff in Ripley's room before I take a quick nap and really get my day going.  I hope everyone has a great day!
